Job description:
The Engineering manager is responsible for creating and maintaining a competitive product range as well as ensuring the right technical tools and capabilities of the company. In doing this you will lead a team of specialists and project engineers. You report to – and work closely with – the Global Coolers and Power & Process Product Engineering Director, Roberto Benedetti as well as the Managing Director of Modine Söderköping, Martin Teikmans. Being a member of the senior management team and reporting to the company’s Managing Director, you also contribute to the overall management of the company and take a natural interest in all business areas. You are a selfless leader, who enjoys bringing structure and clarity to a team while at the same time letting the team grow and develop.

Key responsibilities:
• Working with the Product Manager, Sales and other stake holders to understand the attractiveness of range
• Defining the range in terms of performance, standards and features
• Optimises current range to reduce cost and complexity
• Develop new products to service the market in alignment with the strategic plan
• Interact with other Modine regions, manufacturing locations and/or customers to assure a smooth transition from one region to another according to the product development road-map
• Assure that the team has the right knowledge in the technical field (e.g. Thermal, material, fluid) and in project management to achieve the department responsibilities.
• Product certifications, regulatory driven (EN or other standards) and product performances ( e.g. CE, PED, UL, other)
• Introduce new materials, components verification program (e.g. thermal, corrosion, strength)
• Working according to the ISO 9001 & 14001 standard

• Master’s degree in Thermal or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
• Professional experience in the same or similar management roles for 5+ years.
• Hands-on approach
• Excellent communication skills

Technical Sales Manager - Modine Söderköping AB, Sweden
Job description:
We are looking for a driven Technical Sales Manager to be responsible for the sales of our commercial (ventilation) applications, by selecting and offering technical solutions to the defined customer portfolio. You will drive the sales strategy outlined together with the Customer Management Lead and execute independently on your customer base. You are the internal voice of the customer and will have a leading role in coordinating functional teams and constantly promote the “customer first” culture using the 80/20 mindset. You clearly strategize the sales agenda while also understanding the importance of internal customers, stakeholders and joint collaboration within the commercial vertical and company.

Key responsibilities:
• Front line sales to our key ventilation customers to understand their needs. Manage relationship with the customers and be able to build partnership in B2B environments.
• Understand and evaluate customers’ requirements including technical specifications and norms.
• Select a solution that follows the predefined product guide line provided by Product Engineering group.
• Manage, prepare and submit quotations always with the 80/20 mindset, leverage the full Modine’s footprint and capabilities.
• Responsible for the sales budget and forecast for the commercial vertical.
• Be accountable for negotiations, contract review and customer questionnaires. In this role the technical sales manager will initiate the processes, requiring active support as needed from the vertical’s functions, which remain accountable for their own related tasks.
• Propose strategic sales plans, investigating and pursuing growth opportunities mainly offered by defined key customers, but also offered by the market to identify potential new customers and opportunities.

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, or equivalent work experience
• Experience with sales to OEM and B2B, preferably with heat exchangers and indoor ventilation
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the field
• Engineering background is appreciated, preferred with experience in thermodynamics / heat transfer systems / heat pump and refrigeration cycles.
• Proven negotiation skills
• Excellent teamwork skills, ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
• Resilient and perseverant, able to work independently.
• Structured and results oriented
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
The role will demand limited business travels to our key customers, mainly in Sweden.

You will have overall responsibility for developing, streamlining and constantly improving the business' maintenance processes. You lead, coach and develop your staff based on a holistic view of the business' needs. Together with your group, you contribute to strengthening our profitability by ensuring high operational reliability. Your function includes mechanics, electrician and fire and property management. As Maintenance Manager, you are responsible for the operations' corrective and preventive maintenance execution and strategy and long-term development plan as well as project implementations linked to our properties and machine park. A very important part of this role will be to establish, operate and develop an effective preventive maintenance system, which is based on systematic analysis of performance metrics, and actions, in accordance with the PDCA methodology. Job description:
The General Accountant is located in Pocenia (UD) and serves the European accounting organization, which comprises of 10+ accounting locations in Europe for 16 manufacturing facilities. The role entails:
• Managing cash application from customer payments to AR and reconcile the customer accounts on daily basis.
• Managing past due AR on a regular basis. Contact customers when default payments happen. Understand the reasons underlying to payment delays or defaults and actively contribute to solve the situation by liaising with the appropriate business owners.
• Supporting the cash flow forecast and assist the Treasury activities as needed as a contributor.
• Supporting one or more plant accounting locations in Europe primarily on the side of cash management, AR and journal entries.
• Supporting established internal controls activities such as the balance sheet reconciliation process (primarily AP, AR and Inventory) related liabilities and internal reporting activities such as balance sheet reviews.

• Proven 5+ years accounting experience.
• General understanding of processes around AP, AR, Inventory accounting and financial reporting in general.
• Organized approach in managing their own standard work.
• Proficient in Excel and ERP systems (SAP and/or BAAN are a plus).
• Fluent English as needed to work effectively in a multinational accounting environment. Further language skills e.g. German or Spanish are a plus.
